This capital building of Massachusetts with its 23 Karat gold dome was built in 1798. It is among the most eye catching structure in Boston, hosting both the House of representatives and the Senate for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Park Street Church
Built in 1809 with a 217 foot tall steeple, this church is hard to miss.
Granary Burying Ground
Located next to the Park Street Church, this stop on the Freedom Trail is where many of American's revolutionary heroes lie today. Some of the most famous tombstones here include, Samuel Adams, John Hancock, James Otis, Paul Revere and the victims of the Boston Massacre.
